Plant Apothecary Repackaging

This inquiry involved a type of design that I haven’t practiced before, which is package design. I was inspired by a brand of body wash that doesn’t sell very successfully at the spa & salon I work at. Since we are able to sell more expensive body wash, made with less organic products, I wondered why it was a challenge to sell until I realized that the packaging might be the issue. So, I redesigned the packaging and came up with a cohesive system that would work for different scents & ingredients. My client was the brand, Plant Apothecary, and they fall under the archetype of Alchemists. Organic ingredients plus inclusivity as a main value determined their archetype, along with their more elaborate value statement alluding to harmony between humans and nature.
